A variety of beryl, usually transparent and a slightly light-blue color. Most commonly found in Brazil, though can also be found in the United States and Mexico as well as the Middle East and Africa. It is the birthstone for the month of March.

A 2002 book by Alice Hoffman. The subsequent film based on the book, starring Emma Roberts, was released in 2006.

Color whose shade is between blue and green.

A U.S. Navy boat used during World War II. Stationed in and around the United States, spending the majority of her time in the mid-Atlantic region, Florida and New England. She was decommissioned in 1946 and her name changed to the Miss Ann in mid-1950s. She now serves as a charter pleasure boat in the Washington D.C. area.
